It feels like this 2018 vintage is still warming up and is slowly putting on volume and weight

ripe and earthy red pinot fruit that displays a touch of forest floor that slides into delicious

The 2001 is still quite young and appears to have a bright future

perhaps just leaning to the powerful side of Swartland Syrah

since 1992 though the first commercial release was not until 1997

Bruno Clair, Corton Charlemagne other_regions It feels like this 2018This too flashes discreet wood influence on the spicier and more floral suffused aromas. There is very fine mid palate density to the much bigger and more powerful flavors that coat the palate with dry extract on the citrusy and bone dry finale that offers impressive persistence. This will however need to add depth to achieve the upper end of my projected range, but it could well do that if given a chance with at least a few years of bottle age.
